The program uses the font Century Gothic. If you don't have this font installed it will revert to a poorer looking font, which messes up some spacing and appearance. To have the program appear as it does in the image above, install the Century Gothic font (a simple google search will provide download locations).
The Hide feature is not included in this version as of yet. It may be incorperated into later releases however no plans currently exist to do so; as the option to minimize to the try provides a much more viable option.
As with previous versions and applications, updates will be provided through deankellham.com. The application is distributed through OneClick and will check for updates automatically on launch. If a new version is found on my server you will be given the option to update. Updates are not essential, however as I tinker I may add useful features or fix issues that arrise.
If you've found something worth reporting, or indeed just want to comment (I'll stress that constructive comments are useful, blatant criticism is not), than feel free to contact me. (Please no spam).
Shutdown Basic is a little program I made in Visual Basic a while back. It lets you configure your PC to shut down, log off, or restart after a set time has elapsed. Feel free to download it using the button below; or read on for more information.

It is a known issue that while any time inputted in the Minute or Second field over 60 will be automatically converted accordingly, times entered above 99 appear to fail converion and remain in their unconverted format. This does however not stop the application from functioning, and the time will still reduce correctly at the correct intervals.
That is to say a time set to 5 minutes and 100 seconds will first count down the 100 seconds before reducing the minutes field to 4 and returning the second field to 59. The root of the issue is currently unknown but is under investigation.
Entering a time of 0 and pressing the Begin button will result in immediate action (be it Shutdown, Restart, or Log Off) however to avoid accidental use, a warning dialogue has been included, which asks you to first confirm the action.
